Permits
New tanks and drain field replacements require a permit from the Florida Department of Health — Hendry County office. Your installer typically files.
Maintenance
Pump every 3–5 years depending on household size. Avoid driving or building over the drain field. Watch for slow drains and unusually green patches in the yard as early warning signs.
